Washington, D.C. - The Naval Criminal Investigative Service is the Navy's primary law enforcement and counterintelligence force. The agency works in tandem with local, state, and federal law enforcement as well as foreign agencies to counter and investigate the most serious crimes ranging from terrorism and espionage to common felonies involving Department of the Navy personnel.
