The NCIS Internship Program is a dedicated hands-on experience designed to provide educationally related work assignments for undergraduate and graduate college students in a non-pay status.
This minimum 18-week experience immerses interns into unique experiences such as law enforcement, national security, intelligence, and cyber all while working alongside experienced NCIS personnel. This opportunity is open to all academic backgrounds. However, NCIS strives to place candidates in a wide array of disciplines that match their background, studies, and interests.

NCIS Wounded Warrior Intern Program
The NCIS Wounded Warrior Intern Program is for individuals who are part of the Department of Defense (DoD) Operation Warfighter (OWF) Program. They are waiting to be medically retired or return to active duty. While they are in the medical board process, they have the opportunity to participate in an internship where they can learn valuable skills to help in their future employment. Individuals must have a current Secret security clearance or higher, favorably complete an NCIS suitability check, and can intern for a minimum of three months.
