Sydney, Australia - NCIS Director Omar Lopez was hosted by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) Inspector with Maritime Capabilities-Eastern Command. The AFP showcased their impressive maritime capabilities aboard one of their harbor boats, and they had productive discussions about on-going and future partnership opportunities. This engagement aligns with the Department of the Navy’s strategic partnerships, like AUKUS, which are vital for maintaining regional stability and addressing common security challenges. This collaboration between NCIS and AFP is a perfect example of how we can strengthen our alliances and enhance our collective capabilities.
